The strike MUST start, so you are supposed to say that the firm has lost a lot 
of money last year and that you have to make some pay cut.
And then after (at least) one week on strike, you will admit that maybe it is 
not necessary to make these cuts bcoz the medias have proved that everything is 
OK with your financial situation, market growing up, new clients coming 
everyday a.s.o.

But I like your way of acting ;o)) I will pass on the info to the French 
Syndicat of Bosses; they have a lot to learn from you !

As for your step-daughter, so bad that she is not interested in ham radio.
Well, "nobody's perfect", n'est-il-pas ?!
But at least you can take advantage of her trips abroad ! For sure you would 
not have had any hand key sent with your QSL via post mail ...
