I hope it not against SOC principles to use the mail list to suggest a shed
Hi Julda
I hear OK calls CW here from time to time , on 40 and 80m bands.
I am near Irvinestown in County Fermanagh, in the western part of Northern
Ireland, UK
Loc IO64EL
Had two QSOs a year ago, 18 January 2002, on 3565MHz Franta OK1HKW in Novapaka
and OK1FVD, Vlad, in Lovosice
For me SOC is both 'second class' and 'Slow'
Would you like to try for a scheduled call with me - we can arrange it on email

Subject: [SOC] OK1ZF introduction
Dear All,
I guess it is a good old manner to introduce myself when I come
to a new community. My call is OK1ZF, licensed since 1967 (ex
OK1ATB, OK1DIS, OK1ATB along the years), aged 57 (until 19 Feb),
having 3 childreen (one daughter and son are hams too, OK1DIS and
OK1UPI). My SOC number is 512 - but also my soc number is 20.
This is no attempt to replace NK7M in his #20 position in the SOC
list. At the end of 60's years, Jan, OK1NR had the same idea as
N4BP 30 years later - it is not possible that all are the first,
someone must be second. So, as a counterpoise to the FOC he
established his SOC. As far I am the last member who was accepted
to this club. Guess I was talking too much.
73 to everybody
Julda
P.S.- This my alias comes from my "official" name Julius. Wonder
what alias is used among the English speaking people instead of
"Julius" when they developed those nice aliases Bob or Bill for
Robert or William?
