There are often reports of loose fillings in teeth creating a diode, which
then rectifies a strong signal, like BBC Radio 4 on 198kHz in the UK, and
the person hears the radio programs !

I once tried to make the Razor Blade Radio, but without success.  The pencil
lead was difficult to mount in the copper wire whilst getting enough force
to hold the lead against the razor blade, and the razor blade was covered in
an insulating material which I had trouble scratching off.
