[SOC] Left vs. right - The Brit point of view

I enjoyed the explanation around Napoleon ... So British ;o)
Napoleon was a "left-hand" but the reason for right-driving is not exactly the 
one stated in this text.

As explained in the 1st paragraph, left-side driving was the rule previously.
French revolution done, we were looking to "clean off" all things from the past.
By that time, the people rich enough to have horses and cars were the "High 
classes"; the lower classes having to walk on the other side of the street (the 
right-side, at counter-sense).
Hence, driving on the left was a remember of the "High classes". So we switched 
to right-side driving for everybody to eliminate this "discrimination".
Nothing to do with the fact that Napoleon was left-hand and his army having to 
walk of the right side.

Ah ces Britanniques ... bis repetita.
