Heck, that's probably a ground wave signal from Mitchellville, a scant 21
miles due east of my QTH.....

Well, which is it? 4 or 5 ?

I guess I like the DX signal better.....the AM radio in the car is loaded
as follows:

600 -- WMT, Cedar Rapids -- backup for University of Iowa Sports.....
700 -- WLW, Cincinnati -- friends in the Ohio and Miami River Valleys
780 -- WBBM, Chicago -- Windy City weather (consistent) and Chicago
Bears
1100 -- WTAM, Cleveland -- Home of the Cleveland Browns and Indians
1520 -- KOMA, Oklahoma City -- best rock and roll oldies on the AM dial
1600 -- KCRG, Cedar Rapids -- only there to check band propagation
conditions

Not bad reception for a factory installed (96 Toyota Corolla) Toshiba AM -
FM Radio running with the factory installed whip antenna.....
