Very sorry to hear of the departures, but must confess lowering my own
threshhold for instant use of delete button.
Let me suggest what might be a good rule of thumb. "If you can't have a
good SOC laugh at your own views and other proponents of the same view, then
don't discuss it at any length on the ML."
The point is not one of content or censorship, but one of getting so wrapped
up in a "position" that we lose sight of our own foibles -- which is the
central theme of SOC.
