Ad hominem remarks add nothing to this discussion and show a lack of respect
or understanding for different cultures. I own a firearm which is, since I
live in a small place, is within arm's reach now and when I am asleep.
It is, with two large dogs, not my first line of defense but I would rather
be judged by 12 than carried by six. But I still prefer to sleep with both
a Ham rig and firearm within arm's lenght. But I only carry a Ham rig in
public. And in an emergency my rigs are more of important concern to me
than my fiirearm with my two dogs and two cats more important than any
inantimate objects
BTW anyone with Echolink can monitor Shuttle Recovery Net at ARES-NET Node #
62116.
