Sorry, forgot to mention these:

whilst driving."  A good point.  I am prpared to begin answering my phone
in the car only 99 consecutive times, ignoring the 100th ring.  Wouldn't
want to tempt fate.  (This is similar to the idea of comedians Bob Elliot
and Ray Goulding.  After they discovered that most accidents occur during
trips of less than 25 miles, they resolved never again to travel such short
distances.)

I had a colleague who kept a spent 1.5 volt cell in his desk drawer.  When
he wanted to go somewhere and avoid being disturbed, he'd slip it into his
pager.  If anyone complained that he couldn't be reached, he'd look at the
pager and say, "Darn, the battery must be dead."

Remember the WWII US Army surplus leg clamp with the J-37 key attached?
Did anyone else operate CW mobile, or was I the only lunatic around?  (No,
not while driving....)
