Hey Paul, I'm with ya on that one. I feel the same way about my home/wired
phone. If I'm busy, or if I just don't FEEL like answering I don't. Leave a
message... or not, your choice just as it's MY choice whether to answer the
phone.
I have had numerous people over the years tell me how "rude" I was, that I
have an obligation to answer the phone if I'm home! Wow. That's not how I
live MY life!
OTOH: It's a running joke between the XYL and I... she is like Pablov's XYL:
She hears the phone ring and she just HAS to answer it. It would drive her
CRAZY to not answer it. However she totally gets why I consider it an
option. That's why we get along. :-)
