We will now see just how may lists this actually gets posted on [past the
onerous censor]

Australia, as a matter of great respect to all who went before us, including AR
Operators - who paid that supreme sacrifice, "commemorated" ANZAC DAY today, it
is my personal belief no other nation pays such respect, except possibly New
Zealand.

Everyone was keen as mustard about the current conflict, how many wrote to
their government about the erosion of veteran's rights [OZ and USA?].

In Australia, this is an all encompassing day to commemorate the 'sacrifice' of
others over many, many theatre's of war so we will remain free.

Some say, so what?

Most folks readily forget that the majority in numbers, at Gallipoli at dawn
15th April, 1915 were British and French, not Australian or New Zealanders.

We just drew the shortest straw of all, we landed in the wrong place and a
legend was born.

The even bigger legend, is the respect we choose to pay.

In these 'uncertain times', *HUG* a veteran in your community, they deserve
it...

NO, I didn't march today, NO I didn't participate in our traditional dawn
service, all for personal reasons.

Thanks for listening...
