Er,
Er,
Buller-shite... [decent version]
I didn't see this post before I replied to John's [another mate with whom I
have a "frank and free exchange of views" - someone I enormously respect over
many years].
Mate, come on back, take over the reigns, remember the days when you may or may
not have agreed with me over "XYZ-123" issue [I'm being diplomatic here] but
you would defend my right to the death?
Day's when we had massive mutual respect? We still do. Actually we still do
even though we agree to disagree on the odd occasion ...
Erv, it's your list, it's your original creation, out of some stupidity I can
still recollect in the back of my mind, mumble years back.
Remember discussion about the First Class Operators List? I stupidly chimed in
that my OM would be a cert because he legally held a "First Class Operators
Certificate" circa late 1920's - big time then, "he cheated", wanna know the
story just ask, he told me a cuppla years before he died, all about "automatic
alarms" - just ask.
Erv, take the reins again,
Can't wait until you "pull me into line".
A joke mate, we've never done anything except talk straight turkey to one
another, *one of the reasons I've been very lucky to
develop quite a few serious personal intellectual relationships here*.
A few of my "mates" came via QRP-L, a few came via FPQRP-L, a few came via
elsewhere, the majority came via SOC.
Time I went to bed, time you took over again Erv,

OK run this Prez jazz by us again....
Your Aussie mate with 72/73's
Ian, VK2TIP
BTW - this list is in OZ terms, "the pick of the crop"
