Ok, this ones quite old (from Clinton's time) and I may have posted it
before....
John Cleese (Monty Python, Basil Fawlty etc) was interviewed on American TV
and asked, "What are the main differences between the Americans and
British?".
His response:
"Well, we speak English and you don't. If we stage a World Championship of
any kind, we tend to invite other countries to compete. And lastly, in the
UK it's customary to go down on to just one knee when greeting the head of
state."
