Bonjour tous,

Merci Randall for the good intro to Louisiana curiosities ;o))
Vy interesting, indeed !

<<
If possible, take a cab to the French Quarter. If you decide to take your car
any way, it's much
safer to pay the extra cash and park your car at a parking garage where it can
be watched. In other words, don't park your car on a side street around the
Quarter.
>>

Do you mean the F Quarter is one of the most unpleasant and dangerous ?! :o((
Just wondering what Louis XIV would have thought of that ...

<<
BTW, most Cajuns are upper-middle class or rich, and most of them don't want the
rest of the country to know this, too!
"Keep them in the dark on this, and let them think we're all a bunch of stupid
butt-wipes!" (..)
For instance, the population here is around 100,000 (..) and around 8,000 of
these people are multi-millionaires"
>>

Do you have by you any blank membership application so that I can apply for a
Cajun status ?!
I am holding a F passport, can it help in some way ? :op

<<
most Cajuns drink alcohol like fish and will stop at nothing to get totally
drunk and have a good time!
>>

Arggh ... is this really mandatory for a Cajun membership ?

<<
Hmmm. Anybody come up with a circuit that can read CW from a morse key
connected to an RS-232 port or something?
>>

Tip of the day : you do not need a RS232 port to connect you CW key to your TX
and to put your headphone on your Cajun head. But maybe this is not teached in
your High Tech Universities overthere (kidding) and you are just applying a F
saying : "Pourquoi faire simple quand on peut faire compliqu ?" (What should we
do it in a simple way when it can be done in an harder/more complicated way ?")

See you in the SOC Sprint 2nite (LT), with or w/o RS232 port !

da-di-dah.
