Do not worry, I am fully aware of that and that's why I have written than as an 
oversea member (meaning not holding a FCC licence), I can hardly help you 
but "dans l'esprit".
Besides that ... a F/KC#SOC activation can be funny too.
BTW, "KC" with the French pronounciation ("cass�") means "broken".

Of course, a more SOC way to do it is for me to get a FCC licence (I guess it 
should be possible to find 2 VEC at the US embassy in Paris) and then I will be 
able to use the club call in a more efficient way.

FYI, Adam has not been seen on this list for too much time now and not only me 
but some other friends are worrying abt that, really.
So, for some months now I have been "auto-nominated" as Reflector Admin.
As for the info you are asking for, there is several ways to get it :
1) look at the monthly stats, the very first line or maybe the 2nd one is 
stating how much people are subscribers
2) if you do not have this email anymore, you can still look at the online 
archives ( http://mailman.qth.net/pipermail/soc/ )
3) you can even go to http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/soc to access to 
your account and get the info.
4) last but not least, you can read it here right now : 63 , 55 of us are 
receiving the "non-digest" version, the remaining 8 preferring keeping the good 
stuff for their week-end evenings.

The majority is approx. around 32 but I think first that we should vote to 
decide which majority we should use : absolute one, voting/simple one or 
the "2/3" one ?... (and which majority should be used for this 1st vote ??)

The remark sent by Dennis ("getting a club call is _NOT_ in the SOC spirit") is 
not a stupid one in itself (!!) but once agn it will put me out of the game for 
F clubs call, with some exceptions, have a K as their first letter in the 
suffix.
But as usual .. who cares ?
