Good Evening All,
A new club call can't be applied for on-line, it takes two signatures, the
trustee and an
officer of the club who is not the trustee and is an FCC licensed ham, sorry
Claude.
A form is available from all VEC's and is filed free of charge.
N4BP, Bob, CEO would be the logical choice to sign for the club.
I'll volunteer to be the Trustee/QSL Manager.
This would get us a 2X3 issued somewhere after KCOAA.
After a protracted process of deciding which vanity calls we want to apply
for and
the order of preference in which they should be listed, I would go on-line
and apply
for a vanity call, cost about $12.
Each member who uses the call would arrange or pay for QSL cards for
that operation. I would need copies of all logs, electronic preferred.
I'll assume(how second class of me) that all interested SOC's are on the
reflector.
If N7YA, Adam, the Reflector administrator lets us know how many hams that
is
we'll know the number of votes needed for a majority.
First vote, should we get a club call? YES __ NO ___
My Call is ________ My SOC Number is _________
Please respond directly to me and don't clog the reflector.
I'll post totals to the reflector once a day Monday - Friday.
I'll set an arbitrary cut off of Z Sept 13, 22 for
this vote unless a majority is reached before then.
73

PS if your mail program doesn't handle the (zero) let me know.
I can send your the font or stop using it.
