Absolutely true. The 'pneumatic deception device' escaped from its
moorings in Wales on Sunday. It is believed to be somewhere
between Tredegar and Abergavenny.

Most likely, some enterprising sheep farmer has the thing baled up in
a barn somewhere in Mid-Wales. 'Though why on earth you might want
to keep such a thing, I can't fathom.

It's not the first time one of the army's inflatable tanks has gone missing.

Damned careless if you ask me. It'll probably end up on a lawn in
a university somewhere. Students are like that. Well...I was, anyway.
