Yeah well that just came in, list working again.

On the topic. Where did they suddenly get thousands of pieces of Australian
"Wattle" for the occasion? I can only assume it must have been synthetic or
Qantas urgently flew in a hell of a supply.

Another point. Second Prize [not second rate] for quote of the week goes to a
very British interviewer speaking to a sobbing OZ girl:

[Girl]: "I suppose you think I'm silly, sobbing like this?"

[Interviewer - through clenched teeth]: "No. Our rage is only marginally less
than your rage".

First Prize goes to our PM being interviewed by a respected ABC journalist,
Kerry O'Brien.

[K. O'B] Prime Minister, before we start, is it true you made a very un-Prime
Ministerial statement to bereaved relatives in Bali last week?

[PM] What statement was that?

[K. O'B] It's alleged you told a gathering of relatives, quote: "Don't worry,
we're going to get these mongrel bastards".

[PM] Yes I did say "Don't worry, we're going to get these mongrel bastards"
because that expresses the sentiments of every Australian.

[K. O'B] Oh.... O.K. Prime Minister.... moving along...

That says it all. Thanks again folks.
