While it is true that we are free to chose our beliefs,
the veracity of those beliefs is independent of our choice.
To say that beliefs regarding religion are "not. . .inherently
true", it to say that they are false... While I appreciate
the motivation to deflect from a potentially difficult
subject, sometimes the proposed cure ends up being worse
than the desease...
Now someone mentioned beer... I'll have my Guinness at room
temperature, thank you...
