France obviously hasn't encountered "The Dinneywicks Devils", undisputed
P�tanque champions of Kingswood, Gloucestershire.

They have dismissed all comers despite frequent objections from challengers
concerning "Rip yer head off" Rob's unfortunate lapses of concentration
when he bowls overarm. (He's also Kingswood Village Cricket Club's
demon spin bowler and confuses the two games after a few pints of cider.)
Nobody cares to correct him however. Well....not since Nick got 'kneecapped'
in 1993 that is.

This is one of the (very) few disadvantages of playing the game down the pub
with
a substantial source of alcohol to hand...
