I'm told by several people here [in OZ] Japanese (spoken) is relatively easy, written is
an entirely different story. When I visited the US on business back in 1978 - Hamilton
Avnet - my executive contact had prior experience back to the Korean War, exceedingly
fluent in spoken Japanese but written?????????
