I'm rather disappointed to find that you guys can
measure your frequency to the kHz...

I'm lucky if I can figure out the dial markings on my
homebrew xmitter to within 10 kHz or so. When I need to
be accurate, I move the frequency counter from the
workbench to the station.

I make a motion we censure any members who routinely
measure their operating frequency with any more
accuracy than, say, "the lower part of 40 meters..."
