[SOC] The Result

Tonight the BBC has shown a programme revealing the result of a vote, that
has taken a whole year to compile, of whom the entire BBC listnership
considers to be the greatest ever Briton.
Out of 100, the shortlist of 10 was:
Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Admiral Lord Nelson,
Winston Churchill, Princess Diana, John Lennon, Oliver Cromwell, Queen
Elizabeth 1st, William Shakespeare.

The convincing winner was: Winston Churchill.

This result was 'aided and abetted' by votes from overseas listeners from
Mainland Europe, the States and Canada.
