>From The Reader's Digest magazine, Humor in Uniform column of many years
ago:

A British Naval Officer was arrested for chasing a lady of the evening naked
through the halls of one of London's finer hotels. The charge was dropped
when it was discovered that British Naval Regulations stated at the time,
"An officer may appear in public suitably attired for which ever sport he is
engaged in."
