I guess he doesn't run his cluster full-time (sounds like a candidate
for SOC!)

You can try telnet://n7xy.net:7300 if you like.  I have a DSL
connection which is (supposedly) up all the time.  The link
to the node where I get my feed is down right now, however.  I only get
spots from W/VE, so it probably won't be too useful to you.
