Of course I did it the SOC way ... [email protected] is not a subscriber to the SOC
ML so the email is blocked somewhere. Bob, our fellow moderator is too busy for
now, so I will now dupe my sending ;o))

Subject: Welcome to QSL.NET among the SOC members

Hello Al,

For sure you are too busy to know what the Second class Operators' Club (SOC)
is. It is basically a gang of ops not taking them too seriously and even proud
of the fact that they are not able to do the things the right way, our motto
being "Agn, agn ?" as all "good" op will ask while working a station.

At the Dayton Hamvention you have received a deserved Award and we are really
happy of that, everyone one of us, for we are enjoying both QSL.NET and QTH.NET
systems.

Besides that, last month and once again yesterday the whole QSL/QTH.NET systems
have been out of order for some hours. And I may add that some emails sent to
some @qsl.net address have never reached their addressees.

We, at the SOC, think that now enough is enough and your entrance test is now
over : the QSL.NET as a whole really deserves its SOC membership ;o)
After some high and hard debate in the pure SOC style, QSL.NET has been assigned
the SOC #527.

Dear Al, on behalf the QSL.NET Staff, you are welcome to visit our Web Site
http://www.qsl.net/soc ) and even join us at the SOC mailing list
 http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/soc )

Welcome in the SOC Fraternity !
