I've also had the program loaded for some time now. I also downloaded a
later version (not home right now and I don't recall the version) within the
last few weeks.
I too have monitored often but have yet to send my first picture (how Second
Class). I've messed around with some pictures I have (ok, grandkids and
such) putting them into a format suitable for use. Such things as inserting
CQ SSTV or whatever on the pics.
Guess I haven't played with it enough to find all of the little hidden
secrets. You do that, Rob. Find all of the goodies and let us know so we
don't have to go digging so deep. How does that sound for a deal? You do
the hard work, Ok? hehehe.
I'm presuming from your comment on the cord hookup that you're not already
set up for the other digital modes. If you're set up for such things as
PSK31, you're all set to go on this one.
