When "the invisible man" really disappears from the scene
[ 2002-05-22 08:31 ] OLDHAM, Great Britain (Reuters) - a representation of "the
invisible man" based on the novel of H.G. Wells in a theatre of Oldham in the
north of England had to be cancelled last Thursday because of a technical
problem which made the main character really invisible for the public. Dressed
of special bandages to make it visible with the light, the man disappeared due
to the lack of light in the room, explained a spokesman of the theatre. The
technicians did not succeed in solving the problem quickly and the public,
which could not attend the representation has been offered a drink. The
following day, the show could be played normally.
