[SOC] FSK input on my rig...

Rob,

I suspect that input will cause the carrier to shift from mark to space
if grounded. You could probably use a transistor switch driven by a
serial port, but you might need to write your own software to drive
that. Back around 1968 or so I had a model 15 teletype which I used
with a varicap in the oscillator of the ARC-5 I used as a VFO for my
Eico xtal-controlled transmitter. Ah, the memories....

I've heard of people rewiring the diode switches in some of the rigs
with a FSK position on the mode switch so that it would instead use LSB
with the narrow filter.

MFJ and some other place sell such a device for ~$90. I but you can
make one for MUCH less.
