Spider-Man corners a Peruvian came to see the film [ 2002-05-18 12:22 ] LIMA
(Reuters) - a Peruvian come to attend the projection of "Spider-Man" fell asleep
after the beginning of the american superproduction, remaining locked up in the
cinema until the next morning. Luis Guardia fell asleep a few minutes after the
scene where a timid student becomes a superhros, after being bitten by a
spider. "I have been taken in the web", declared Guardia to the radio RPP.
Guardia remained wedged up to 7 hours of the morning (local time) Friday until
the gates of the cinema open. The team of the cinema alerted the police which
questioned it, but no charge was retained against him. Guardia explained that he
would try to see film again. "But this time, I will go with other people", he
specified.

Note : the English translation can not pass on some French "word game" : here, a
popular way to say that we are going to see a film in a cinema is : "on se fait
une toile" which can be translated by "we will make a cloth", the 1st meaning of
the word "toile" being "linen" or "linen cloth". As everyone here remembers, in
our earlier days, films were broadcasted on some white cloth ... whence the
popular "toile" for "going to see a film in a cinema", and here used also abt
the spider's web.
