Bonjour !

TV news last nite was showing Mr Bush using up to 3 pens to put some signature
on some great new doc over there ...
Will the 4th be for the new Antennas ruling ?

BTW, here our "Ham right for the antennas" is signed since long time (1986) and
we can not wait anything new before next political game next month :o((

For info, should it be of any help (?!), F law says that as soon as you are
holding an ham licence, noone can deny you the right to erect an antenna,
except if you are living in a so-called "historical building / area" or
military field. No doc needed if the tower is smaller than 12 meters and all
dimensions of the antenna are smaller than ... 4 (!!) meters. (( pse do not
laugh ... So, just erect a 12 m tower, feed it with a coax and you have your
12m vertical ... a big longer than 4 meters but ... it is a _tower_ !!))
If some dimension exceeds these limits (12m or 4m), a simple "declaration de
travaux" (declaration of construction) is OK. Go to the mayor office with a
copy of your ham licence and full description of your construction to be.
Wait 3 months and if no answer within 3 months, you are OK to go.

GL !
