Man what fun Ham Radio is. Keep in mind I haven't even listened to CW for
over 7 years. K1B was on 28.020 with nobody coming back to his CQ's, so I
dug out a straight key I had around here for some reason, grabbed my
electric guitar cord (for the 1/4 plug) and 2 alligator clipped jumpers
and tried to send out my call sign. DA..... what's an "A"? I finally got
a AC6WD sent out (I think). What was that he sent back? Da....... what's
a 559? Got that sent out. (I think) Did I work him? Who knows! Who cares!
It was challenging though. I'll have to wait now for all of the logs to
be downloaded to the Web site to find out.
I NEED A RIGBLASTER!
