Used to work with a FBI agent in Santa Barbara, Ca
that kept a roll of aluminum foil in his desk drawer for
just such anti-alien problems.  The only thing I see  you
may have forgotten that he had available for his hats was
a string of paper clips that attached to the hat once in place
and made to fit so it would drag the ground and short out
such invasions of one's inner space.
