I would agree wholeheartedly with you, Ian, but I fear that might seem such
an intelligent act, it could impugn my second-class status.
When my house was robbed a couple of years ago, the thieves left untouched
a genuine Windoze machine but stole all my Macs. At least the SOBs had
taste. [Also stole the small refrigerator out of my office, leaving behind
all the beer. Investigating Sheriff's Deputies were genuinely puzzled.]
Also, in passing, here's a thought about the stock market:
Had you bought $2,000 worth of BUD (the beer, not the stock) two years ago,
you'd be better off today financially if you'd been drinking the beer six
cans a night and turning in the empties for the deposit money rather than
if you had spent your $2,000 on Enron stock.
The reader is left to deduce his or her own moral from this factual statement.
