Rob ....
It's been awhile since I had Linux up and running. Went to a hamfest today
- the only thing I was going to buy was a CD-ROM drive and ended up
forgetting it! Need one to install Linux in a PC in the basement.
Anyhow, the last time I installed Red Hat, pine was on the selection list
during installation. Then after it was all over and I got TCP/IP running
on my LAN, pine ran and went through the firewall and worked fine. I don't
remember if it had relay or redirect like Eudora does .... But pine was
cool because it was plain ASCII text. period! Don't know anything about
PC-Pine ..... But I have messed with VI for DOS .... the guys at work
proclaimed me "certifiable" when they saw me using VI for fun!
