I agree with all of your information except that the highest point in the 
east is in New Hampshire, Mount Washington at 6,288'. That is one of the 
reasons I moved from NH in 1990. I grew up in Westfield. only go back once a 
year for Thanksgiving. Sure don't miss the traffic and crowds.
