It seems that the vast majority of people who choose to believe that they
are constantly being lied to automatically conclude that their government is
lying to them and doing so under all conditions. Thus, if there are
mis-truths in circulation, then it's got to be the government spreading
those mis-truths, and that "fact" they will accept blindly.
Not to say that governments don't at times stretch or distort the truth, or
even totally falsify explanations for events. We all know better than that.
But to make the blanket assumption that no true explanation for any event
will come from our government is just one more example of the persecution
complex and class envy so common today. "I'm just a little guy. The
exploited and downtrodden and look, big, bad government wants nothing more
than to keep me little, downtrodden and oppressed." (Add big corporations
to that as well). Yes, in modern history, regimes have existed solely on
the basis of lies. To continue to exist, they had to keep their subjects in
absolute slavery. Fortunately, man's urge for personal freedom has made
hard going for these political systems and many have fallen apart and
somewhat more democratic systems taken hold in those countries. The
struggle still goes on, but that's another topic entirely.
I've seen those pictures on other sites. I'm not so gullible to accept
everything I see as being credible. I can do wonders with any picture you
give me with the aid of PhotoShop or Corel.
To question whether or not a plane hit the Pentagon, we might as well come
to the conclusion that in actuality, the whole thing was a hoax or greatly
altered truth. Fact is, (why don't we go so far as conclude) that not three
thousand people were killed but only a couple or three hundred. You see,
there were not that many people in the WTC. They had all been evacuated
hours before, and those killed were the FD and PD personnel who did not get
the "word." (Government communications screwup, you see). How many bodies
have been found? Not three thousand. You see, the government knew about
the "attack" and made sure that the buildings were mostly empty.
Ludicrous, isn't it? So if a plane didn't hit the Pentagon, what caused the
explosion and damage? Where did the fourth plane disappear to? Oh, there
are really only three planes missing. The government is lying to us on that
count. Maybe it was caused by an employee accidentally setting it off while
smoking in a hazardous area.
Actually, the planes were not flown by Arab terrorist, but by disgruntled
airlines employees after their demands for pay increases and added benefits
were turned down by their exploitive employers.
Some day, some version of history will tell a whole different story and it
will come out something like, "secret CIA operation causes three airliners
to crash into sacred Islamic sites in (whatever third world country you want
to pick) causing tragic loss of thousands of lives." Don't believe that?
They're already at work on the school history books. Just wait.
