The right time to be fired!!  He becomes a free agent who has scored a
critical goal in WC play.  I understand the rules correctly, that means the
next club doesn't have to pay the transfer fee and can bid higher for a
known commodity.  Meanwhile, the club who fired him gets nothing, but may
have prevented a riot.
