Brethren,
Please spare a thought for our friends in Argentina, who have sadly =
today failed to grace the world cup tournament with their valued =
presence.

It is nice to know that the wonderful people of this country can accept =
defeat with such grace.

Below is a letter which turned up recently on a British football fan's =
webgroup. It's touching stuff, so I have changed the typeface to spare =
your emotions should you unexpectedly read such moving words.
