Amazing! I happened to catch it on the news this morning, wherein the Jubilee
and WC each got about a minute. I think it was me who made that comment,
not because of cynicism about the capabilities of US soccer (although after
last time it would be justified) but because without cable, it is awfully
hard to find out what is going on (at least during the week. On the weekend
one of the mainline/old broadcast networks is carrying selected matches
between basketball playoffs, hockey playoffs, French Open tennis, Nascar
car races, etc. Although I object to the price and its affect on the kids,
it is at times like this when I wish we had cable or digital satellite! Argh!
