Hi John,
>Not a monkey, but a Andaman Islander, named Tonga.
Sri for the confusion and tnx for the correct info.
I have loaded all the S.H. books in my Palm Pilot (1.7 MB for the full stories)
and reading them morning & evening on the way to/from work.
Up to now, as almost everywhere I guess, I knew the Baskerville story (via the
film) and that was almost everything I knew abt Holmes.
BTW, there is this well-known sentence "Elementary, my dear Watson" which we
associate so quickly with Holmes.
After 24 "stories", I have met only once this sentence, in the Reigate Puzzle or
Crooked Man, I do not remember.
Humm, I have to tell you that I am reading the _English_ version (!), not a F
translation (not available or at least not found for my Palm) so I guess I have
the original text ! A very pleasant way to train my ... English !
I will look for some mailing list speaking of SH. Any clue ?! ;o))
73!

PS: email rx ur 2 emails (via ML & directly). So it seems that the Greek mesg
