[SOC] Jubilee

Chris - Haven't seen much on the Jubilee yet. Hard enough to find World Cup
Soccer (Football) if you don't have cable. I think I get what CBS chooses to
show me on the weekend and ESPN2 is doing the rest (rats), all competing 
with the French Open, NBA Playoffs, and God knows what else. Incidentally,
where you say "advert" we say "commercial" on radio and TV (Telly to you) and
"ad" in print. Also where you say "different to" we say "different from" (and
other differences. Do you know why the big difference in this last? I'm
reading a very long science fiction novel by an excellent Brit author named
Peter F. Hamilton (about 3,000 pages altogether), so I've been dwelling on
the odd little differences between American and British usage. Enjoyed the
England/Sweden match and really looking forward to the England/Argentina
match! (ABC promised to show it to us). Is the U.S. team still in it? Haven't
