I didn't think Red Hat was slower than NT or 2000 (although 2000 sucks less
than NT!) Had Mandrake 7.something up and running, but no color, no mouse,
no desktop ..... just Linux.

Been awhile since I've messed with Linux .... Do you have SMB installed in
Linux? Think there is a file called smb.cnf or .cfg or something like that
that has to have the NT domain or workgroup in it. This may bave been with
Red Hat.

I had Mandrake printing to an IP printer on the NT workgroup a while back.

Do you want vi for DOS, so you can keep in practice with the vicious interface?
