71 is (I think) the brainchild of Brice, ka8mav (are you on this list Brice???).
It's like 72 (wishing you good qrp), except smaller, as in QRPp :^)
As for the "69" deal, Randy, ab5ni (?) came up with that one :^) I think Dennis just
wanted to keep dragging it down?

Hello Will,
<<
Par for the SOC-course: what *do* 71 and 74 stand for? Or "oo" for that
matter?!? I
can find them nowhere in any of my references! Dumb references!
>>
71 is nothing more (less ?!) than 72-- and 74 is only 73++
As far as I remember, Dennis and Rob are responsible for this kind of "joke".
Some months ago they started to do some countdown bcoz 73 and 72 were not enough
for them ;o))
Dennis even went down to 68 bcoz he did not want to stop at 69, at least on a
public place ... :o))
"OO" stands for "Oink Oink". For this one, pse refer to http://www.fpqrp.com but
beware for some areas are not so pleasant to be as it appears at first glance
(personnal opinion :o(( )
