[SOC] the real reason

Just for the record, the inside aperture of a soccer goal is 24 feet wide
and 8 feet high. The reason that scores are so low is skill.  A game played
between children can often end with the scoreline at something like 20 - 15,
but between evenly matched professional teams it can turn into a total
stalemate, with the irresistable attack constantly being thwarted by the
impenetrable defence.

Just watch and learn :-)
