Hah! I've been dragged out of retirement.

My son is extending his house so I've had all the plumbing and drainage work to
do. God I'm tired and sore. Bashed my head on the timber frame twice so far and
cut the top of my head three times on ant caps. And I thought I'd missed all
that stuff for the last five years.

Also supervising my carpenter grand son who is doing most of the construction
work. Not supervising too closely though because he made a huge error yesterday
and his uncle let fly with some invective and I had to mediate in the fight.
[memories].

As I explained to my wife last night, if I double check everything he does then
it robs the kid of his confidence [he's 20]. Learn by your mistakes, even at
your uncle's expense. The last bit cracked me right up, even Carolyn laughed.

Yep, was lovely. Most areas received some good rain, shame it wasn't totally
state wide. The far west of the state is still a dust bowl though.
