Hi Ralph,
I think we've communicated before. For the edification of our
Continental and Pacific Rim members, Purdy (with a y) Lane runs east and
west about 1 mile north of the Mexican Border between Naco, Az --Sonora,
Mexico and the San Juan section of Bisbee. A goodly percentage of the
"recreational pharmaceutical" and cheap imported labor supply crosses
Purdy Lane to get to the lucrative markets in the rest of the country.
This is not all bad as it provides a good living for tens of thousands
of Border Patrol and DEA agents along our common border. Just north of
Purdy Lane is one of my favorite places--Turquoise Valley Golf Course,
where immigrants can be seen crossing the fairways. I haven't yet
learned the Spanish word for "FORE" (quatro??)
