A long time since I did not help you abt your kids and some idea of pets, 
a.k.a. "Animaux de compagnie" (not sure if the animal is the pet or the child).

Now, Xmas approaching, I think it is time for me to help those of you who are 
in need of help regarding gifts and ideas ...

Toads with hallucinogenic effects stolen by addicts ?

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - The Dutch police suspects addicts to have stolen three 
exotic toads whose warty skin has hallucinogenic effects when one licks it.

Animals have been stolen Wednesday in a close shop to a center for addicts of 
Leeuwarden, in the north-east of Netherlands.

" There has been some agitation with addicts, and there is a place of welcome 
for them near the shop, therefore it is a track (...)", has declared Harry 
Oenema, from the City Police.

"It is an exotic toad kind that secrete a substance. If you lick them, you can 
have a comparable hallucination to a trip with LSD", added Oenema.

Of the size of a finger, these sweetens cane brown color toads, called bufo 
marinus, originate from South America. Glands on their neck and their back 
secrete a toxin that allows them to defend against their predators.

To taste to these toads can have secondary effects such that a swelling of the 
tongue and a temporary muscle paralysis, has specified the proprietor of the 
shop.
