I *HATE* Tooheys New... Yuk, Yuk, spew, spit.

Mr. Toohey NEVER, EVER, produced a good beer of his own. They now produce Tooheys
Old, a black beer which isn't too bad, not good for weight though. This comes
from a brewery they bought out.

Originally it was Hunter Old [just north of me] and was produced for coal miners.
The theory was everything was black to them anyway.

As recent as 20 years ago it was produced locally and you'd kill for it. The only
beer served with a knife and fork, real put hair on your chest stuff.

Tooheys took it over and almost killed it. What's new.
