Bonjour tous,

Yes ... I confirm ... (abt Euro a.s.o.)
The "funniest" part of the game being that with our beloved FRF, the prices
were "clear/rounded" : 5.90 or 24.00 or 134.25 for the most "strange".
Now, almost all our prices are looking like the "funny" US prices, you know
these X.99 iso X+1.00 -> 1.42 euro or 34.98 or whatever it can be.
A tip if you come here to buy stamps : one letter up to 20 gr to France and
most of European countries should wear a stamp of a value of 0.46 euro.
The FRF "old" value for such a letter was 3.00 FRF
Due to the fixed change (1 euro = 6.55957 FRF), 10 stamps which used to be sold
for 30 FRF will cost you 4.6 euro that is 30.17 FRF
Now just imagine how much stamps are sold each day ...
I want to work in a bank and write a program to catch up those 0.00001 cents ...
So, Mr P and Chris ... keep on the good job with the GBP !!
BTW, I still have a coin of 1 FRF in my "porte-monnaie". Hope it will bring me
some luck .. some day ...
da-dit-dah.
Claude
