Another great radio book, my absolute favorite (only because i havent gotten 
Martti Laines book yet) is "The Complete DXer" by Bob Locher, W9KNI.
  Full of helpful stuff for the beginning to expert DXer, plus i love reading 
the DX battle stories...cool book.
 I only read it when the bands are dead as well. hunters hunt when there is 
game in the woods. :-)
